I first became a private tutor around fifteen years ago now when I was teaching in a prep school. It was something that some of my colleagues at the time did but I was originally reluctant not believing that I would enjoy. Thankfully I was wrong, and have enjoyed nearly every minute when working as a private tutor.
My main areas of interest are English and Mathematics from Key stages 1 to 3, and also history at GCSE, A/S and A Level, plus some occasional work with children with special needs. I have worked with all ages as a tutor, ranging from Year 1 age through to adults.
As time goes by I will add resources to this site, but in the meantime please be patient as I don't have that much time as I also like to study in my spare time.
Over the coming months I will be adding various resources to this website in order to try and assist my private pupils. In the meantime I will add some books that I can recommend as reading is so important.
